Disability Access to the Library

Most of the disabled parking spots are located in lot 3. A few are located in lot 4 and in front of the Business Building. The John Peace Library is wheelchair-accessible through ramps and elevators. For further assistance, consult the library's disability services page or the UTSA Office of Disability Services.

From Lot 4

• Go into the Business Building.
• The elevator is on the right. Take it up to the second floor.
• Exit the elevator and turn right. Go all the way down the hall to the sliding door exit.
• Exit the Business Building, and turn left.
• The John Peace Library is the first building on the left.
• Take the ramp up to the upper level.^*
• Enter the library through the sliding glass doors.

From Lot 3

• Follow the walkway between the Business and HSS buildings.
• The John Peace Library will be the second building on your left.
• Take the ramp up to the upper level.^*
• Enter the library through the sliding glass doors.

* If you have difficulty going up the incline, you can take a system of ramps down to the first floor. Use these directions instead:

• Facing south (by the library and Sombrilla), the first ramp will be to your right. This ramp will take you down 1/2 a level.
• Go forward to the southwest corner of the Sombrilla, and the next ramp will be on your left. This ramp will take you to the first floor.
• Enter the John Peace Library Building through the sliding glass doors on the first level.
• Go past the cafeteria and the scholarship office.
• Use the first elevator on your left. It is labeled "2" and is painted a lighter brown than the other elevators. This is the only elevator that leads you to the library on the second floor.
