Mission

The UTSA University Archives is responsible for the institutional memory of the University, including University records and related historical collections. Our mission is:

  • to identify, collect, organize, describe, make available, and preserve records of historical, legal, fiscal, and/or administrative value to UTSA;
  • to promote knowledge and understanding of the origins, aims, programs, and goals of UTSA, and of the development of these aims, programs, and goals; and
  • to provide information services that will assist university administrators in the operation of UTSA.
