Compustat (via WRDS)

This electronic resource is only available to current UTSA faculty, students, and staff. You must request a WRDS user account to access this electronic resource.

Types of WRDS accounts available include:

• Faculty
• PhD student
• Research Assistant (must have a sponsoring faculty member)
• Visitor (visiting faculty members only)
• Administrative & Staff
• Class account.*

If you are a faculty member, PhD student, Research Assistant, visiting faculty member, or UTSA staff member, you may request a WRDS account with a UTSA email address through the WRDS website. You must enter your UTSA email address. A unique username and password will be assigned. This is NOT the same username and password used to access databases from off-campus.

Walk-in users are not allowed to access Compustat via WRDS.

*Graduate and undergraduate students may only use a temporary, shared class account, which must be requested by a sponsoring College of Businesss faculty member.

Account requests are usually processed within two business days.
