SciFinder Scholar Client Software

UTSA faculty, staff, and students may search SciFinder Scholar on designated workstations in the John Peace Library. Please ask for assistance at the JPL Reference Desk. SciFinder Scholar is not available to the general public or walk-in library users.

UTSA faculty and staff may also access SciFinder Scholar from office and laboratory computers connected to the campus network. Computers not located on the UTSA campuses will not be able to download the program. In order to access Scifinder Scholar from your campus computer, you must first download and install the SciFinder Scholar client software. The client is available for MS Windows and Macintosh operating systems. You need only download and install the software once, until the next software version is made available. You must enter your last name and UTSA ID to download the software, and you must have your browser set to accept cookies.
