LibQUAL+™ Survey Results
The UTSA Library would like to send a big THANK YOU! to everyone who participated in the LibQUAL+™ survey in October/November 2006. We received outstanding feedback about the library and are using your input in our plans for future development!
Key Points:
- UTSA Library had 2,307 respondents
- 1,437 Undergraduate Students
- 326 Graduate Students
- 243 Faculty
- 256 Staff
- 45 Library Staff
- 987 comments were received from participants
- 39.61% of respondents use resources on library premises weekly
- 37.48% of respondents use library resources through a web page weekly
- The overall results show that:
- Faculty, undergraduate students, and graduate students are most satisfied with library "employees who instill confidence in users"
- Staff members are most satisfied with "community space for group learning and group study"
- Graduate students, undergraduate students, and staff are least satisfied with "library space that inspires study and learning"
- Faculty are least satisfied with "print and/or electronic journal collections I require for my work"
- Undergraduate students commented most on Library as Place and Affect of Services
- Graduate students commented most on Information Control and Library as Place
- Faculty commented most on Information Control (specifically library collections)
