Mission Statement

The mission of the Government Documents Unit is to serve the government information needs of the UTSA community and citizens of the 23rd U.S. Congressional District by collecting and organizing government information and providing free public access, instruction, and quality reference assistance in the use of these materials.

About Government Documents at UTSA Library

The UTSA Library receives government materials in print, microform and electronic formats. Use of government documents is available to UTSA faculty, staff, and students as well as to members of the general public. UTSA Library receives documents from the following:

  • official publications from Texas state agencies
  • official publications from Texas county and local governments
  • official publications from branches and agencies of the federal government
  • official publications from the U.S. Congress
