Holds & Recalls

Holds

• Any current (active) UTSA patron may request the UTSA Library to hold currently checked-out materials when the materials are returned.
• The requester is notified, and the item is held for the requester for seven days.

Recalls

• Any current (active) UTSA patron may request the UTSA Library to obtain materials checked out (with an end of semester due date) to another borrower.
• When material is recalled, a new due date is set and the borrower is notified.
• Materials recalled for reserve are due immediately.
• When an item recalled for a patron is returned, the requester is notified and the item is held for the requester for seven days.
