Library Home » Services » Borrowing Rush requests for in-process materialsWhat does "in-process" mean?An "In-process" item is one that has been received by the library but not yet cataloged or otherwise made available. Such items can usually be identified by the note "1 Copy Received as of [date]" in the Order Information section of the UCAT record. NOTE: If the UCAT record displays an "on order" message without a received date, the item has not been received and cannot be requested. Who can request these materials?Any UTSA Library user may request rush processing of in-process materials. How do I request an in-process item?To request an in-process item, print out the UCAT record for the desired item, and submit it to the Reference or Circulation desks. You will need to provide your name and a way for us to contact you. Requests will be processed within 1 business day. You will be notified when the item is ready. |
