Michelle leads a group of ten professional librarians in the core functions of the department, including collection development, information literacy program development, instruction and outreach, as they work across the libraries to build a curriculum-based information literacy program. She also develops the Reference and Library Science collections in the library. Additionally, Michelle is a member of the Association of College and Research Libraries Institute for Information Literacy Immersion faculty.
Her research and publication interests include information literacy assessment and student learning.
