Students often struggle to find academic resources.  They may fail to think critically about their search process and they quickly choose information without examining their results.  This interactive workshop will provide examples of exercises that help students recognize scholarly publications and encourage them to engage with the information they use for projects, papers, and their daily lives.

Jeff works with faculty and students in the Department of Philosophy and Classics, the Department of Sociology, as well as humanities and film studies courses to conduct research and build collections.

Tara provides library support for the UTSA Department of English and the Writing Program.  This includes developing library collections, improving faculty and student access to resources, and working with faculty to create curriculum-based research instruction.
