Finding Authors

If I can't find the author's name should I use the source?

It the source is part of a larger trustworthy publication, then it should be OK to use.

For example: an anonymous article in the New York Times or information from a government website.

Otherwise, be wary of sources without an author, especially online. Consider the context.

If you have questions, ask your instructor or a librarian.
