Julianna Barrera-Gomez joined UTSA Libraries Special Collections in 2013 as the university archivist and a year later she became the university’s digital archivist charged with leading the creation, maintenance and stewardship of born-digital and hybrid collections. Even before joining UTSA, Julianna’s past experience and publications made her a rising star in the archival world.
