UTSA students and faculty heading back to classes this fall will have an easier way to connect with library information and services.
The UTSA Libraries recently launched its new mobile website – a one-stop shop for accessing the Libraries’ most popular resources. The site provides a simple way to look up textbook and course reserves; check computer availability at the John Peace and Downtown libraries; and track study room openings.
To access the mobile website, simply visit the library’s website (lib.utsa.edu) from your smartphone’s web browser, and the mobile website will come up automatically.
“The new mobile website offers a convenient way for busy students to seamlessly access library resources they’ll need throughout the school year,” said Krisellen Maloney, dean of the UTSA Libraries. “With the bustle at the beginning of the semester, I couldn’t think of a better time to kick-off this new tool.”
Michelle Cruz, a UTSA junior, said she’ll be using the mobile website.
“It will be great to be able to check on my phone and see if study rooms are free,” she said.
Other easy-to-use features include renewing books, finding a book or article, checking your library account, looking up library hours and maps, contacting librarians and more.
