UTSA Libraries’ Services Series: Renewing Library Materials

The UTSA Libraries would like to remind students, faculty and staff of the convenient options offered to renew library materials.

Most, but not all, materials can be renewed online, over the phone or through mail. Items may be renewed – checkout time extended – twice before it must be returned to the library, and it can be checked out again if it is not needed by other patrons.

“We offer several options,” said Amy Chang, Head of Access Services for the UTSA Libraries. “Our patrons can choose to renew by phone or online, and we make sure our services are convenient and easy to access.”

To renew online, go to My Account and log in using your MyUTSA ID (abc123) and password. Once logged in, patrons will see a list of materials they have checked out and there also should be links to renew those items.

Certain items may not be renewed, please contact the front desks at the John Peace Library (458-4574) or the Downtown Library (458-2440) for more information.
