Rush Requests for In-Process Items

What does "in-process" mean?

An "In-process" item is one that has been received by the library but not yet cataloged or otherwise made available.

Such items can usually be identified by the note "1 Copy Received as of [date]" in the Order Information section of the catalog record.

If the catalog record displays an "on order" message without a received date, the item has not been received and cannot be requested.

How do I request an in-process item?

To request an in-process item, print out the catalog record for the desired item and submit it to the Front Desk or Information Desk.

You will need to provide your name and a way for us to contact you. Requests will be processed within one business day. You will be notified when the item is ready.
