  • Downtown Library: Copiers are located near the library entrance.
  • Applied Engineering and Technology Library: The copier is located near the service desk.

Using the Copy Machines

Please refer to our Copyright Policy for concerns or questions about photocopying and copyright law compliance.

Paying for Copies

Students receive an allocation of $12 in printing credit at the beginning of each semester, which can also be used to pay for copies. After the $12 is used, printing costs apply. Additional print/copy credit can be purchased by adding money to your UTSACard at Cash Value machines located in the Student Computing Services labs and at various locations throughout campus. Credit cards may be used to add money to your UTSACard at Fiscal Services or through ASAP.

Guest Copying

Faculty, staff and guests (including Community Borrowing Program Members and Alumni) who wish to make copies may purchase a Guest Card for $1 from the Cash Value machine located next to the copy machines. These cards can only be purchased with cash, and have no initial value. An addition of at least $1 to the Guest Card will be necessary to pay for prints.
