Printing at the UTSA Libraries
Whether you are printing from a desktop computer or wirelessly from a laptop computer (your own or one borrowed from the library), select PRINTSPOT as your printer. Print jobs can then be released from the library printers in the following locations:
-
John Peace Library on Main Campus: Seven printers located on the second floor (two black/white and one color along the wall in the Information Commons; two black/white in the East Commons; and two black/white to the left of the stairs)
-
Downtown Campus Library: Three printers located in the Front Desk Area (two black/ white, one color)
-
AET Library: One color printer located near the Front Desk
Print jobs sent to the PRINTSPOT system can also be released from any Print Spot printer on the Main and Downtown campuses.
Students, faculty, and staff who wish to print wirelessly from personal laptops will need to download the appropriate print client software for their systems.
Cost
Students receive an allocation of 200 free pages at the beginning of each semester. After the 200 free pages are used, printing costs apply.
Faculty, staff, and guest patrons do not receive a printing allocation; printing costs are the same as for students.
Save money by printing double-sided.
Problems?
Please notify staff at the Information Desk of any problems that occur.
Please Note: UTSA is not responsible for pages you print unintentionally. However, we will gladly issue you a credit for unreadable pages printed when the toner is low, or when there is a paper jam. Please ask for assistance at the Information Desk.
