Del oversees call slips, distribution of new materials, physical management, general collections (shifting, weeding and relocation projects), and updates holdings in Voyager and OCLC as needed. He supervises both the Collection Support Unit and the department’s student employees, who shelve books and maintain the 3rd floor stacks.
He holds a B.S. in biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
