Bahena is using a combination of materials available through the UTSA Libraries as well as blogs, podcasts, Twitter threads, and newspaper articles in order to diversify her curriculum.

"My vision is that students will be excited to learn methods and appreciate the many ways in which understanding research can inform their practice as graduate students and, for my doctoral students, give them the tools they need to conduct their own studies. Methods textbooks tend to be expensive, ranging from $50 to $90. The Creswell and Creswell book I’m using now is more affordable than the text I used when I first taught the course, but I’d like to identify resources that are open-source, interactive, and customizable to the student’s own research interests and curiosity."
