The Memorial & Honorary Book Program provides an opportunity to honor a special individual while simultaneously supporting the UTSA Libraries. In addition to creating a lasting tribute, your tax deductible donation will enhance the UTSA Libraries’ collection for the benefit of future generations of students.
The minimum suggested donation for a memorial or honorary book is $100 for the bronze level. A gift of $250 qualifies for the silver level, and $500 and up qualifies for the gold level.
You may propose a topic for the book, and our professional subject librarians will select a title appropriate for the library’s collection.
Every memorial and honorary book is recognized with a special bookplate and a notation in the book’s catalog record. The bookplate gives the name of the person to whom the book is dedicated, and the name of the donor(s). A keepsake card and replica of the bookplate will be sent to the honoree or, in the case of memorial books, to surviving family members.
To get started on your gift, please complete our Memorial & Honorary Book Program gift form.
