Esteban provides research support and instruction to the College of Engineering and the Entrepreneurship program. He also collaborates with faculty and manages the print and electronic resources in Engineering and Entrepreneurship areas to enhance the library collection and to better support research and instruction.
He is available to help faculty and student with patents, codes, and standards research, managing author online profiles, and one-on-one or group instruction. Esteban can also assist with measuring research impact, research data management, bibliographic citation management, and market research for entrepreneurship students and senior design project engineering students.
He has previously held IT/Library related positions at Our Lady of the Lake University, Western New Mexico University, and Texas A&M University-Kingsville. His professional interests lie in library automation, information access, and streamlining workflows.
Esteban has been at UTSA since 2015. He earned his Masters of Library Science in 2009 from the University of North Texas. His ORCiD ID is 0000-0001-8960-2267
