James is responsible for news and content creation for the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures, including newsletter, social media channels, marketing materials, stakeholder and partner communications, and mainstream media. He liaises with Library Creative Services and UTSA Marketing and Communications. James has extensive experience and institutional knowledge of ITC exhibits, programs and events, including large-scale festivals. He is also a capable representative for the ITC, including speaking engagements and with news outlets. James has a master's in communications arts from the University of the Incarnate Word and a bachelor's in journalism from Texas A&M.
