John Paul Martinez supports research, teaching, and learning at the University of Texas at San Antonio through library instruction, research consultations, collection development, and outreach.
John Paul serves as a liaison to the College of AI, Cyber and Computing, supporting research, teaching, and learning in Information Systems & Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Statistics & Data Science. He also serves as liaison to the Department of Mathematics within the College of Sciences and is responsible for developing and managing electronic and print collections in these subject areas.
John Paul is also developing library services for the Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC), where he supports patent and trademark research and helps connect researchers, inventors, entrepreneurs, and students with intellectual property resources.
John Paul received his Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2023. His ORCID iD is 0009-0009-5653-1410.
