TWO-TÚ SER 1.1 1.1 was created by resizing the original frames with artificial intelligence (upscaling) supported by a large image processing farm, given the complexity of the render. This combination of pixels allows us to appreciate a surprising degree of detail and color in each exposed piece
Curator's Statement
In TWO-TÚ SER 1.1, photographer Santiago Barreiro Pacheco gathers images from the ordinary rhythms of daily life, scenes both familiar and intimate. Within each companion frame, a luminous interruption appears. A deliberately placed silver streak that unsettles and reframes the image. These works speak quietly but powerfully to how technology shapes experience by inserting itself into memory, identity, and place. The repeated images suggest how easily a moment can be mirrored, altered, or lost in a world saturated by screens. Photography has long been a mirror, reflecting our lives and preserving our history. This exhibition invites viewers to look again, consider what remains true and reflect on how presence itself is shaped in an increasingly digital world.
