Applications are now being accepted for Adopt-a-Free-Textbook grants offered by the UTSA Libraries.
The grant is open to tenured, tenure-track and fixed-tenure-track faculty and offers funds to support faculty professional development and teaching.
UTSA Libraries is hosting several webinars to provide additional information about open educational resources. They include:
- Benefits of OER: Tuesday, March, 2, 2-3 p.m.
- A Panel Discussion with OpenStax and UTSA Faculty: Wednesday, March 17, 2-3:30 p.m.
The Adopt-a-Free-Textbook grant was created to support the adoption of open educational resources at UTSA, offering an incentive for faculty to integrate a free textbook, or other free instructional materials, into a course.
