Downtown Library adjusting hours for fall 2020, available by appointment only

Beginning Monday, Sept. 14, in an effort to better utilize resources, UTSA Libraries will close walk-in service at the Downtown Library and will permit access by appointment only for the remainder of the semester.

Curbside and locker delivery will continue to be available at the Downtown location using the library’s Get It For Me service. Books may be returned using the outdoor book drop located near the semi-circular passenger loading area off of South Frio Street.

To request an appointment at the Downtown Library, email circulation@utsa.edu. Services will be limited to librarian consultations. Requests for study space cannot be accepted. Priority will be given to students in programs housed at the Downtown Campus, including architecture, public administration and education.

Access to the vast collection of digital resources continues, including quality reference services via chat and virtual research consultations with subject-specialist librarians. Read more about the full slate of virtual services available online.

The John Peace Library on Main Campus will remain open and will continue to offer physical study space, access to university Wi-Fi and curbside and locker delivery of materials.
