In honor of Women’s History Month, the UTSA Libraries are showcasing a selection of work generated in the field of women’s studies and highlighting interdisciplinary databases that can guide further research.

Portion of UTSA’s Mexican Cookbook Collection now available online

FEBRUARY 14, 2020 — Unique, handwritten recipes of traditional Mexican dishes dating as far back as 1789 can be viewed online as part of the digitization efforts of the UTSA Libraries’ Mexican Cookbook Collection, one of the nation’s largest of its kind.

Grants available for courses that integrate UTSA Special Collections content

UTSA faculty looking to integrate unique content from the UTSA Special Collections into their courses are invited to apply for the Faculty Teaching in the Archives Grants for the 2020-2021 academic year.

John Peace Library introduces new single-service front desk

UTSA Libraries implemented an improved Library My Account on Thursday, June 13, to provide students and faculty/staff a central location to access account information.

UTSA Libraries acquire archive from famed Mexican food expert

UTSA Libraries Special Collections is now home to a new collection of rare cookbooks and archives from one of the world’s most famous Mexican food experts and Mexican cookbook authors. Diana Kennedy, the 96-year-old ethno-gastronomer, traveled 892 miles from her house in Michoácan, Mexico, to San Antonio to hand-deliver her archival collection to the UTSA Libraries.
